As part of the Strategic Vision: It Takes a Volunteer, the University of Tennessee, Knoxville identified improving undergraduate and graduate student retention and graduation of our students as one key to success as an institution of higher education. Since the 2021 adoption of the vision, we have been working toward increasing our 6-year graduation rate from 71.1 percent and our undergraduate retention rate from 88 to 90 percent. Data relating to the progress and other information about student success is available on the Institutional Research and Strategic Analysis (IRSA) website and provided by other departments. Below is a description of what is available and links to take you to the information.
