We Have Exciting News!
To provide you with an exceptional end-user experience, key members of the campus assessment community participated in an RFP process this past fall to review options on the market for an assessment management platform that best meets the needs of our university. As a result, we are excited to announce UT Knoxville’s new partnership with HelioCampus!
In spring 2023, we will begin to migrate away from the Anthology (formerly Campus Labs) suite of products and begin to offer HelioCampus orientation sessions for campus stakeholders. We’ll show you how best to leverage these new solutions.
Accreditation & Planning
HelioCampus will be used to capture evidence and prepare reports for accreditation, academic program review, strategic planning, workflows, and other comprehensive reporting. As key personnel prepare materials for a 2025 SACSCOC reaffirmation, writers will utilize HelioCampus to develop narratives and capture evidence. More information will be forthcoming from Heather Hartman, with support from Ashley Browning.
Outcomes Assessment
The new HelioCampus platform will host student learning outcomes assessment for the 2023-2024 academic year. Rest assured the Assessment Steering Committee will be guiding you through this process with available training and workshops, user guides, and other resources. Be on the lookout for more information on this shift in late spring/early summer 2023. The HelioCampus platform will be used for the 2022-2023 assessment reporting cycle. More information will be forthcoming from Ashley Charsha, with support from Ashley Browning.
Curriculum Mapping + Outcomes Alignment
Curriculum mapping is also now available through HelioCampus! Our colleagues in Teaching and Learning Innovation will be exploring ways to pilot this capability. Be on the lookout for more information in the coming months. More information will be coming from Virginia Stormer and Ashley Browning.
Course Evaluation + Feedback
The change to HelioCampus will be completed in phases. A sample of programs will be approached for a pilot program utilizing the new solution in spring 2023, with full integration planned for fall 2023. More information will be forthcoming from Elizabeth Pemberton, with support from Ashley Browning.
Changes like these can be intimidating and challenging, and we want you to know that the staff in Institutional Effectiveness is dedicated to making this migration as seamless as possible for you. We look forward to leading you on this adventure!
